From a young age, Alyssa Eskesen has had an undeniable passion for animals — especially dogs. What began as a lifelong love for four-legged friends grew into something more when she began fostering through Endless Pawsabilities a few years ago. The experience of caring for dogs in need opened her eyes to just how much joy and fulfillment came from helping them thrive.

At first, Alyssa wasn’t sure if she could turn her love and hobby into a career. But as time went on, it became clear that working with dogs was exactly what she was meant to do. Just like that - she launched Homeward Bound Adventure Hounds to give dogs in Langley and surrounding areas the care, exercise, and enrichment they deserve.

Alyssa’s journey doesn’t stop here — she plans to become a certified dog trainer in the near future and hopes to expand her services to reach even more dogs and their families. Her goal is simple: to build trust with both pets and their people, and to make every walk, outing, and interaction a positive, tail-wagging experience.

Because for Alyssa, this isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. 🐶💛

🎶 Meet Kelsey James 🎶

Kelsey is not only a recent high school graduate, but also an essential part of Homeward Bound Adventure Hounds. She dedicated all of her volunteer hours to helping grow our family business and supporting Endless Pawsabilities — a true testament to her generosity and passion.

With big dreams of joining the University of Victoria’s Music Program, Kelsey brings the same dedication and heart to her music as she does to working with animals. Over the past year, she has blossomed into a confident, vibrant young woman, learning deeply about how dogs communicate, interact, and thrive. Her ability to “speak their language” shapes her smart, compassionate choices every day.

Kelsey is patient, kind, quick-thinking, and has a natural gift for connecting with animals from all walks of life. She shares her home with two guinea pigs, a hedgehog, and her beloved dogs — all of whom benefit from her gentle care and understanding.

When she’s not caring for animals, Kelsey loves playing guitar, writing, and spending time at the piano. Her unwavering support has been invaluable, and Homeward Bound Adventure Hounds simply wouldn’t be what it is today without her. 🐾💛
